Scotland Island Flower
I lived in Scotland Island in Australia 36km up to Sydney. In exchange of rent I was looking after 5 year old boy, 1 cat, 2 dogs and 4 chickens. Walking around the island was my favourite hobby and discover everyday amazing plants, insets that create this magical environment. Here I find this massive flower walking with Dante and Muttly the dog. I also get to know the different people that lives there, unique people, more in contact with water. Is a tough place to live especially when is raining.
Masses of white petals fill each flower creating a peony-like effect throughout summer on this old favorite. Rose of Sharon is an easy and rewarding upright to vase-shaped deciduous shrub. The Rose of Sharon or Althea is an easily grown deciduous shrub that was a common pass along plant. This durable shrub is tolerant of a wide variety of soil types, is moderately drought tolerant once well established (though it will flower more with adequate moisture), and will provide many years of enjoyment with its procession of summer flowers.
